Rotomate is creating a new category in industrial AI software: the decision layer on top of condition monitoring. The company's AI colleague turns machine data into clear, prioritized maintenance decisions on the factory floor, helping industrial plants reduce production disruptions and improve production at scale. Where traditional systems stop at the alert, Rotomate delivers expert-level maintenance decisions continuously across entire plants. For European industry, closing that gap translates directly into less lost production, stronger output, and improved global competitiveness.


Rotomate has raised €2.1M in pre-seed funding, led by Kvanted, with participation from Robin Capital, Angel Invest, Business Finland, and some notable angel investors.

  • Mikko Kuusisto

    Mikko Kuusisto

    Co-founder and CEO

    Mikko brings commercial and operational experience scaling fast-growing Nordic companies. An early employee at Swappie, he played a core role in scaling the company from its first €1M to €220M in revenue, building the operative planning backbone, leading the €124M Series C funding round story, and building and leading both operative and business development teams. He holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University.

    Jesse Miettinen

    Co-founder and CTO

    Jesse pioneered AI research in condition monitoring, with deep expertise in vibration analysis, AI, and signal processing. His academic and applied work sits at the intersection of industrial machine data and machine intelligence – the foundation on which Rotomate's AI Engineer is built. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University.
